German Language Courses

NASSEL study abroad consultancy services is offering a one-year German Language Scholarship to undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in studying German language . Travel expenses and other requirements of the program are covered by the scholarship.

We offer a wide range of German language courses in Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, Stuttgart, Mannheim, Freiburg, from University preparation courses to Individual language training. Whatever your current level, or needs we will find a course to suit you.

Teachers

All of our teachers are university educated, highly experienced in language teaching and well trained in our methods to help students reach their goals.   Our teachers are friendly, open and approachable and always strive to be sensitive to the needs of their students.

Method

• We use a communicative approach that focuses on students speaking the language within context from day 1.
• All four skills (reading, writing, listening, speaking) are taught, with 50% of class time devoted to conversation.
• The conversation class will enable you to speak with confidence in actual business, personal and academic situations.
• The grammar component will help you work on structural weaknesses such as correct verb usage, word order, etc. and improve reading and writing skills.
• Our method allows you to progress at your own speed in mastering the grammar and conversational elements of the language.

Course Start

• You may start your course on any Monday (except the week of Christmas).
• Testing is done on your first day as well as an orientation of the school and local area.

Certificates

• There is a grammar and conversation certificate issued when the student successfully completes a level.
• The student receives the certificate at the end of each level.
• The student's test mark is written on the certificate.

Activities

• Practicing a language while engaging in lots of fun activities is a great complement to the lessons learned in the classroom. Participating in activities allows you to explore and expand your horizons while making bonds with new friends. At NASSEL we take our fun seriously!
• Each school has a dedicated activities co-ordinator who organizes a full schedule of optional activities and excursions for weekends and outside class time.
• Students are accompanied by either the activities co-ordinator or NASSEL staff or teachers on all activities.
• On the first day of school, there is a guided tour of the school and the surrounding area by the activities co-ordinator.
• NASSEL offers a wide range of activities during the week: movie nights, museum visits, karaoke, soccer and much more.
• At Christmas, the NASSEL teachers and staff organize special activities for the students at the school.
• Students only pay for the activities or excursions that they wish to attend.
• The cost of all activities is always reasonable and some activities are free of charge.
• Advice is always available from our activities co-ordinators for those students who wish to explore their city or another city on their own.

Organization and Accommodation

Your accommodation is an essential component of your stay with us. 
Our carefully selected host families offer friendly, comfortable surroundings and play a central role in our programme. They all meet the standards established by national accreditation bodies. You can stay with one of our host families or in one of our apartments, where you can live together with other students from the school or by yourself.
